Objective, data-driven testing proves the PaceController's performance

The PaceController is proven technology with thousands of successful installations. PaceControls has gone through a rigorous process to provide accurate, reliable and verifiable data.

Our two-phase testing process consists of pre-installation baseline monitoring of weather conditions and energy usage and a post-installation comparison of the same factors.

Energy consumption during the two periods is normalized to account for changes in temperature and humidity, providing an accurate, "apples-to-apples" comparison of energy savings. Cost savings are determined by annualizing the average energy savings and multiplying it by a prevailing market rate.

Testimonials
Manager, Sales and Marketing, Major East Coast Utility,
Commercial Building Systems
“Commercial Building Systems has successfully installed digital load controllers at select locations in our area...proven to reduce both energy and demand for these customers and can serve as a diagnostic tool for problems elsewhere in the system.”

President, Cold Storage Company, Pennsylvania
“Our payback on the original installation was 1.5 years...In addition, we have experienced an increase in effective compressor life. Our sales have increased (because the controller) allows us to have a large refrigeration capacity when our customers need it, yet when not required, our electric utility charges reflect a much smaller capacity, keeping us competitive in the marketplace.”

Director of Operations, Anheuser-Busch distributor, Michigan
“...[The PaceController] certainly has performed at levels I can recommend to other beverage distributors. We have saved money and received other benefits. These benefits have allowed us to improve efficiency, maintain temperatures and lower electrical demand and kilowatt-hours...DTE Technology was brought in with the most sophisticated electrical test equipment and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the electrical demand was reduced on controlled refrigeration...the system will surely pay for itself and return a very good percentage return on our investment.”

Operations Manager, Anheuser-Busch distributor, Maryland
"[The controllers] not only improve the efficiency of our refrigeration compressors, they substantially reduce our energy usage and demand charges. The test we performed with our local utility (Pepco) certainly proved the point. We cut power usage by 50% and demand by 20%, and at the same time, we were able to satisfy our set point...give us a more controlled temperature and improve our ability to meet our set points quickly."

President, Fast Food Franchise Company
"Downtime in a restaurant is critical—it can affect quality and comfort. Reduction of maintenance and increase of customer service life were benefits we received that we hadn't expected… The kW/kWh savings, though more readily visible and quantifiable, were not the only advantages."

Director, Assisted Living Facility
"We have definitely benefited from the work performed by PaceControls and the savings have been noticed. I would also like to add that the work and reporting was performed in a highly professional manner."
